  1. If they choose Yeti it will spark imminent rivaly with Colorado because their mascot is yeti, so blizzard would be better.

  2. I work 1 mile from this new facility. I'm gonna spend a lot of time and money there, lol. I'm really glad they chose this location.

  3. I’m really excited about the practice facility! I live pretty close by and can’t wait to go.

  4. The Grizzlies play in the Maverick Center, a 12k seating facility. I don't see them moving to a practice facility. I hope they make them an AHL team.

  5. So the best thing about this facility, it’s in a very accessible area. It’s right off the interstate, and can pull in from Utah and Salt Lake Counties easily. It really is the perfect spot for a Hockey center in the Valley. You can get a majority of those interested in hockey around. I don’t see them taking away too many stores away and see this long term as a place for stores and restaurants. Kind of like a mini entertainment district for Sandy

  6. Now they have leverage against SLC. The south towne plot is perfect for the new arena and entertainment district if Downtown doesn’t work out

  7. Pathetic that the Utah HC wouldn't even partner with the Utah Grizzlies from a logistics stand point. Why would you want to have a pipe line team in Texas?
