doesn't matter where you finish or how you get in the playoffs. it's how you play once your there and most teams in recent history that finish top of their division don't get to far because they have nothing left in the tank due to trying to get that division title or President's trophy. it's like they say if you get a 75 on a test and someone else gets a 99 you both still pass so wild card is fine
