I had Koivu at 26. He has projectable skills, and I think there is an upside to the player, but he’s definitely a project. Won’t know what we have in him for a few years at the least.
I agree with the writers, in that I don’t think it would be bad for him development wise to go and dominate the Finnish jr league.
