I hate guys that make the kind of posts that I’m about to make but I think Savard brings leadership to this young team.
I know a lot of you love Gally but and I wish he would show something more than “HEART”. I mean, he’s no Saku. (Definition of heart)!
And I think he’s as frustrated as we are.
Savard to teach playoff defense and Mario as a gamble for later
Pezzetta complaining about the taxes is crazy i dont think he can fit in another nhl team tbh. He is digging his own way out of the NHL.
Hopefully we get Mario on a ten x 10 mill deal, better to Lock up franchise talent

I would keep evans , good guy on the pk can win some face offs. The rest can go play in the NAHL.

Evans is the only one they should bring back
Habs are bad
Trade them all.. Evans for a 3rd, Savard for a 2nd, Armia for a 3rd and Dvorak for a 4th.. trade matheson in the offseaon. Package him up with a pick and a prospect for a young top six forward. The Anderson situation is up in the air. If he improves his play, with another year burnt from his contract and the cap going up, we might be able to move him for a small return. Gallagher can be bought out on his last year and we can then say the rebuild is done.
You need to keep Evans and Armia for a couple more seasons. Evans is a grade A 4th line C and Armia, although frustrating is a very solid player for the most part. And both should be very affordable. All the others can leave, especially Pezetta.

Wish Anderson was on his last year, but alas he still has 3 more years to his overpaying contract. I was hoping he would perform early last year to become a good bargaining chip at the trade deadline, sadly, I can't think of a team that would want him. Thanks Columbus! Wished we had kept Max Domi and that 3rd round pick.
I like Pezz as a fourth liner, who really cares if he's complaining about the Quebec taxes?
In my point of view, the following would make sense:
Evans = Definitely resign on a 2yr below 2m$/season
Armia = 50/50 let go or resign on max 2yr below 2m$/season
Pezzetta = UFA let go
Dvorak = UFA let go
Savard = 50/50 let go or resign 1yr below 3m$
By trade deadline try to get good decent trade value for Armia, Dvorak, Pez and Savard.
Side note: that kid Mario should get resign to a 5yr 5.5m$/season deal though, he's better than Anderson lol 😉
I would not keep any of them, nothing against them, but the team is moving forward and I don’t see any of those guy long term

Never letting Shitfully off the hook for that. He’s a ‘me’ guy through and through.
Savard is less expendable than it looks since he is a RHD, and his current contract for what he brings is extremely good.
So on one hand, it would definitely get us a return at or before the TDL. He a kind of D that is needed for any playoff run, so he will attract attention.
On the other, we still need a big reliable RHD, so why not keep him? If because of age and stuff we can resign him to something even more team friendly, I'll do it.
I'm not sure Barron would already have a contract if he wasn't a RHD btw, and he's not a replacement for the kind of player Savard is.
If Pezz wants to stay, when should keep him imho.

Evans, I think it will depends on which centers like Beck can steal his job this year. If not, a 1 or 2 years small contract at most.

I wouldn't keep any of them, if you want to advance in the standings none of those players are game changers. your talking about third and fourth line players. pretty sure we have the players to replace them.

Evans and Armia are key forwards on PK1, re-sign both to 3×3 or 4×4 deals. With Armia, you don't know whether you get Joel or Mario until the period starts.
