Kallgran is the better of the two (three for that matter), I am 100% more comfortable when Kallgran is in net.

Källgren is a bad goalie period I don't know why we took him. I gave him a chance and he could not prove himself. The Florida game was were I gave up on him I don't know how he let a shot from blue line in but he did and he also can't control rebounds at all and his gloves saves are non existent

Leafs should’ve gone for fleury or they even had georgiev as an option and decided to get more defence/offence. Wasted opportunity with fleury. He’s undefeated playing for Minnesota at the moment
Yes they need to prepare him for one round of the playoffs. Prepare him for the fans blaming him for a poor defensive team. For an offense heavy team that never works in the playoffs. But prepare him that he will be the scapegoat. Prepare him that the offensive stars won't do crap in the playoffs. But he will get blamed.

I like all the leafs fans trash talking and saying this is their year. They don’t even have a goalie lol. You can’t win every game 10-7 in the playoffs. If you just shut down Mathews Toronto’s toast.

Remember folks.. Campbell has proven to be a strong playoff goalie(last season). He deserves more credit. Of course Kellgren should be the backup

They are probably resting him while getting the kid more late season playoff style experience. You can’t not give the kid some time even if he is the backup.

If it's Jack's groin, ribs, or concussion issues, then Kipper is right…all three of these injuries linger longer than other injuries. I've had all three and just when you think the injury is healed, you still really don't know. Plus, groin injuries for sure never heal right with a goalie unless he takes 6-12 months off for proper recovery/rehab. Plus, you really can't play through the pain on these injuries, your body just doesn't allow it, especially the groin for a goalie.
Leaf goalies get hurt and will continue to get hurt because their defence makes their goalies undergo groin straining saves like no other goalie. Also, every now and again, players bowl Leaf tenders over because there is no accountability.
Can’t wait for the Leafs to lose again in the first round! The D and Goalie situation suck! What else do you expect?!

Kallgren seemed to play well within himself in his last appearance. He wasn't over-reacting to shots like Mrazek was not too long ago. Eric was composed even under extreme situations like breakaways, and could use some additional starts to give him more NHL level experience which will stand him in good stead in the payoffs.

The Leafs had better be preparing Kallgren for playoff action. The Buffalo game will be Kallgren's 10th NHL start. He is the de facto back up and could well be pressed into service in the post season.
The reason the goalies have a hard time here is cause all this BS. Added pressure by the media. Hes rested and could be fine. Or could be not fine lol.

"This might have been the year to spend a third-rounder on something (goalie) out there." Really though? I feel like if I'm in the east and I'm not in the state of Florida then I'm not super hopeful about a deep playoff run. That's just my opinion though.

Is Hutchinson worse than kallgren? I thought he was a decent backup just Toronto asked way too much last time he was with the team. He was backing up other teams before Toronto picked him back up. I don't understand why Toronto has Hutchinson.
