The Philadelphia Flyers win 5-3 against the Carolina Hurricanes. Claude Giroux scored two goals and recorded 2 assists. This was huge for him as he needed a night to get going offensively. Alain Vigneault has been calling out his veteran players to the media and he finally had one respond. Morgan Frost was spectacular in his second NHL game by contributing two points. Travis Konecny assisted three goals. Brian Elliot struggled for the first 10 minutes or so, but from there he felt more comfortable and made timely saves. One thing that is fun about this team is that young guns are truly carrying the squad. For the future, this is insanely intriguing, but for this season as a whole it shows me that the team can be even better when, or if, the veterans get going

I'm gonna start giving you plugs on the Flyers fan page on Facebook. I'm an admin there. I normally don't like fan made stuff. I'm not gonna name a few of the Philly ones I'm talking about but I'm sure you've seen them. They're terrible. But you have really good breakdowns. Keep up the good work.
Cant wait for the veterans to get going, because this team can be even better. Love this team. I do like how AV moves the lines around to get some spunk, but I really think there is value in players playing together on the same line to build chemistry so hopefully we see that moving forward. This was a big win for the Flyers and Frost in his second game is on fire with two points in that game, Giroux stepping his game up this season by scoring two goals in this game and now he has seven goals overall, I have a good feeling about these players and the rest of the season.
Let's trade Voracek and Ghost for Goudreau. You heard it here first. Frost is going to be a monster. Stoked.
