Stop comparing the two when both never play one NHL game yet ,
Michkov has played vs men in the KHL. Demidov has played in MHL!
I have never seen either of them play so I can't choose. What I do know is that we could of had both of them.
Michkov has one special talent that cannot be calculated or analysed: he puts it in the net

Hi Coach, further to your analysis, MHL only stats indicate there is little offensively between the two players. Michkov played 84 games, scoring 68 goals and 107 pts whereas Demidov played 99 games, scoring 52 goals and 145 pts.
It would be interesting to see what Demidov does in the KHL however I do not believe SKA will be invested in the player given he will leave after this season. We have discussed this before and I do not believe there is a development plan in place with SKA given Les Canadiens never made an announcement which seems odd given the high profile of the player.
To me, from what I understand, Demidov wanted to be in Montreal. Michkov did not want to go to a Canadian team.
IF that is true, the rest does not matter.
It's about character and attitude.
Character and attitude played a part in the Habs decision on Michkov. They (The HABS) want players who play for the logo on the front not the name on the back. Both players have a chance to be great . Looking forward to following both of their careers..
The Habs should of pixxxk a foward last year the need a topline center.

It's too early to judge but Demidov has size that Michkov will never have…but MM might end up being made of granite. This is a fun conversation!
