Hi. Ex-Coyotes fan that jumped aboard a couple of months back.
I haven't posted as often as I'd like lately, largely because it's still the off-season, but also because I was preparing for my trip to the Twin Cities which took place three weeks ago. Long story short, loved it and had a phenomenal time in Minnesota. Along the way, I did walk by Xcel. Hell of a building to see in person, even if it was just the outside. A couple pics included. While I was here during hockey off-season (I booked the trip prior to last season), I was at Target Field for a Twins game. As I mentioned, I had a hell of a time on my trip and definitely developed a connection to the area. I shall be back someday, and yes, being inside Xcel for a game is absolutely on the bucket list (assuming it hasn't been replaced by that point, I don't know if there have been any replacement or renovation talks considering the building opened in 2000).
Here's to the coming season!

Any renovations are not happening immediately, and it is going to be a few years.
Minnesota is one of the best summer states. Winters are the worst, though.
Is it hockey season yet?
You didn’t go inside to the Hockey Lodge?
we’ll be happy to have you back for a game!
