Islanders fans aren’t stupid. The team isn’t improving, there isn’t much room for them to improve with their long-term contracts and lack of prospects, and Lou’s track record since the 2004-05 lockout has been terrible. I’d say they’re smarter than Devils fans were in the final years of Lou, when we were freebasing copium and “in Lou we trust.”
Lou is a lazy idiot. All he did last year was literally re-sign everybody. Now he's open to re-signing the one albotross around our necks this off-season. Why not bring Chara back while we're at it?

Isles need to get younger, starting with the GM. I think trading away your first round pick 5 out of 6 years is no way to run a team. Unfourtenitly I think we are going to get a lot worse before we get any better.

Have a Battle of Ontario game in Ontario, California.
Yeah the Orlando game seems to be happening every year now. I went last year and it was a blast. The building is where the NBA Magic and ECHL Solar Bears play, so it has a large capacity and fills up well. It's continued presence lets me dream that someday Orlando could be considered a viable expansion/relocation city. The city shows up pretty well for the Solar Bears!

Worth noting about the Athletic confidence ratings: despite how well Jeff Jackson did at the start of the summer, more than 70% of Oilers fans lost confidence in management compared to last year. The only team that did worse on that front was the Kings.
