I’m aware Bennett punched Marchand. I put out a video immediately last night and pretty much broke that story and put out a second video about it thsi morning. If you read the comments on that video you’ll know why this one exists. Lol.
Everyone just needs to accept the fact that Florida is by far the dirtiest team in the league and that they have the league's blessing to be exactly that.
Marchand is 5' 9" AND he's crouching and lifting before impact…no question in my mind he would've impacted Bennett's head had he'd been a taller player….Marchand's intent was there…he made an attempt and came up "short"… running his face into an impact defending Bennett's right hand…..laughable that any one would say Bennett should've been penalized or that Bennett's action was dirty in this attempted blind side check by Marchand
Rofl. Lets go super duper slow mo, with a second angle and see if we can definitely see the right hook – oh wait nope just hands up bracing for a high hit. Marchand's shoulder looking for Bennet's jaw at 1:54. Lucky the leg contact prevented that intent to injure hit from happening because Bennet straightens out and his head goes up 2-3 inches. But here we are saying Bennet threw a hook faster that even a boxer can with his arms tucked in and almost no movement from his arm – like you would expect would happen FROM A COLLISION. Lets all go read about inelastic and elastic collisions in a physics book! Even at 0:19, where is the hip leading the hit??? Nope – targeting high. Bennet is lucky is left leg was out wide. Otherwise Bennet would be out with a concussion and likely losing some teeth on as his face smokes the ice.

They played soft and can’t stand up against Florida’s aggressive style. It’s funny because Boston used to be known for their toughness. This is crying over spilled milk because your team is losing. Maybe if you keep trying, everyone will focus on that as a bad hit instead of how they failed to shoot the puck and your PP is totally struggling. Your D is weak as well. Swayman is only reason you’re still in this series.

On second look from a different angle Bennett hammered matchand with a cheap right hand and it made marchand very wobbly. I agree with others who say Bennett should have been suspended and then he scores the key goal yesterday after interfering with the defenceman cross checking him into the goaltender. WTF. 😮
And then last night McDavid seeing a Vancouver player totally totally vulnerable facing the boards blasted him from behind. After all these years the players know not to do that. Definitely a suspendable hit. Well except this time because of who did it so nothing will happen.

I'm not a fan of either team, I'm a Utah fan so I've got no skin in the game but it's pretty clear your eyes clouded on this one.
