Left after the bottom of the 7th to beat the traffic when we were up 8-3. I was surprised when I checked my phone and saw we won 8-7.
I wonder if Johnny Lasagna would have been our closer by now if his arm hadn't fallen off. I think the bullpen was going to be fine this year but a couple of guys got hurt, and a couple that were supposed to come back never materialized.

A couple walks and soft contact was almost Holmes’s undoing again. Jomboy spelled out that exact script for all of Holmes’s closes and it’s painful how often we see it.
