Glass is likely to be a pretty solid 3C
Dubas SUCKS. Why do the Penguins have 6 centers? 1. Crosby 2. Malkin 3. Hayes 4. Eller 5. Lizotte 6. Glass.
I would of signed speedy winger Dylan Holloway instead. I don't know how good Cody Glass is. I can only look at his stats.
2023: 72 games, 14 Goals, 21 assists, 35 points. If he's a center then at least he's better than Jeff Carter.
As a Smashville fan, hate to see Cody go, but Nashville needed cap relief. Injuries have hindered him the whole time with the Predators. If he can stay healthy, Pittsburgh may have a good player, plus picks. Nashville didn’t had many options, besides Glass or Fabro, one of them needed to move to make the cap work.
I like the trade. Will most likely play 3c or 4c for penguins. 2 draft picks attached to trade helps too. Dubas is in a hard place in pittsburgh. Try to stay competitive in the final years of crosby's career and also build for future. I think he's doing well building for future but remaining competitive will be hard. Glass maybe turns his career around in pittsburgh and becomes a current and future piece. Like the puljujarvi signing last year. It's worth the gamble.
