  1. I really feel confident with this team the chemistry is already there we just don’t know what we getting out of trouba but I feel like he’s gonna make up for last season if we can get off the hump of the ecf and get physical like Florida did they can be a good team bread man gonna have to have a peak season as well

  2. Panarin racked up a large majority of his points, against the Caps & 'Canes.

When it came to the Panthers series: he and his linemates ( including ZBad's line) dropped back into the same 'ole obsessive Panarin Perimeter garbage.

We all watched the post-season, right?

The issue is a bit more complicated, than just " shooting the puck more ".

Both the Panthers and ' Canes created layers of walls ( bodies and sticks): to take away shooting lanes and passing lanes; whole also being aggressive in their pressuring.

Without looking up the stats: I'm guessing the Panthers blocked, deflected or intercepted at least 500+ Rangers shots and pass attempts, in those six games.

Much like the Oilers in the Finals: the Rangers were able to score on the counter attacks, and when they were willing to send bodies in, to penetrate the Panthers layers of defensive walls; and disrupt their deciplined positioning and aggressive pressure on the puck.

Same problem against the Devils, two years ago. Same problem against the Lightening, three years ago.

Our Rangers need stronger, more tenacious players on the top lines: who are willing to penetrate between the circles: disrupt, create chaos and open up shooting lanes and passing lanes; as well as battle fiercely in front of the net, for rebounds, make plays or smack the puck into the net.

With McDavid ( arguably the most skilled player in the world) and all the skill / talent the Oilers had: they were mostly successful scoring ( against the Panthers) with those type of role players: winning battles and creating havoc, for the Panthers.

Every year, we see similar Cup Champs: big, tough, full team-cohesive defensive systems; snuffing out highly skilled players; counter attacking for big, important goals.

More finesse, more fancy-smancy players: are not what the Rangers need.

They have the skill. They need the muscle, the fierce determination and The Attitude.

  3. Ottoman does not win us a Cup. Not at this point in his career.

Regulation Season points don't mean diddly, if you don't have the right horses to create space for your skill players; in the post-season.

Juggling Bread, ZBad, Kreider, Trocheck and Laffy around; is futility.

We need some big, nasty bodies on their lines.
