There’s a reason why our offense has been called “torture”.
Damn pitch selection is awful for this team. Chasing so many balls, taking hittable pitches.
Chapman misses multiple FBs in the zone that were very hottable.
Last night Bailey takes 2 absolute cookies by Sale for the backwards K.
Then tonight late in the game:
9th inning, 3 outs on 6 pitches.
10th inning, 3 outs on 8 pitches.
Our lead off hitter & best hitter at the moment tries to lay down a bunt in the 10th then squibs it off the end for the easiest play ever for a catcher to get the lead runner. There was no interference, we got lucky.
But wait! There’s more…
Wade, 1st pitch swinging on a high and away off speed just to fly out and not move the runner up.
Then Ramos works a 3-1 count, just to chase ball 4 & then misses a 3-2 cookie to walk it off.
That last game vs the Tigers we had 2 terrible base running mistakes that cost us the game.
The offense is torturous to watch.

Making Fitzy bunt when he’s out hottest hitter is insane. We’re already struggling on scoring runner at 3rd less than two outs, just let the kid swing
Travis D'Arnoud did more in this game than Sean Murphy has done all season 💯

That was 6ft away from being a Braves Loss. Only 6ft away. Call that one a lucky win and yet another bad pitch call to throw.

Well wow another crazy finish in extras, wild but the braves pulled off a big win. First of all great outing from Morton, 6 innings 2 runs and was able to bounce back, sensational work from the bullpen, Chavez and Johnson of course but just a massive shoutout to Iglesias, what a season he’s having and pitching on low rest, still able to close it out in that situation, he’s truly been incredible. Homers from Laureano and D’arnaud, also shoutout to Travis, great game and the clutch hit in the 10th, so much appreciation for him. Good games from them and Riley as well. It was intense but a very important win, Holmes on the mound tomorrow, let’s go braves #ForTheA
since the braves sweep against the brewers, the two wins are crucial

As a diehard giants fan i feel so disappointed mostly with our hitting coach staff etc. its just so sad going from 61-58 and being in big playoff contention to now 61-61 it just feels everytime we could go so many games ahead of 5.00 we dont take the opportunities maybe next year when we have JHL back and the rest of our players are healthy also maybe we could sign some nice key players.
What a mediocre ballclub. Being a Giants fan is abysmal.
