Let’s Look at the Career of Corey Perry

Alright, after having him listed among the top players of the last decade, I am willing to look over what he has done in his career and how we can overlook just how good he was as a goal scorer in his prime.

  1. If you're looking from 2009-10 to now, his numbers aren't very impressive at all haha. He had 2 or 3 good years. You're dreaming on him being ahead of Malkin on this one lol

  2. It’s actually crazy how fast his production dropped, no gradually decline just elite to bad in a matter of a season. Kind of sad.

  3. I can see people voting him into the HoF 10 years or so after his career ends. For 10 seasons he was one of the best players in the league and has won all the right trophies. The last few years and his points per game will immediately sour the Hall voters but that taste will disappear starting a few years after his eligibility begins.

  4. Perry was a great player, no doubt but Malkin was and is better. I think that the points from the all-star game skewed the list a bit. With that said, love the videos. Keep it up!

  5. Cory Perry is a legend in Anaheim and it's a shame Bob Murray wasted him and Getzlaf. Damn shame.

  6. how can u say Perry had a better past ten seasons than malikin towes and even Marchand and there's probably many others . Perry doesn't have a cup in this decade and has had 3-4 poor seasons in this decade

  7. Yeah i didnt have any issue with Perry being on the list, he was always one of my favourite players, when i was much younger i watched him play for the London Knights often. When they play for your OHL team you tend to follow them for the rest of their playing career

  8. He has a very good career, but it just doesn't compare to Malkin, who was behind perry in your all decade top ten.

  9. to me perry is kinda like marchand in the sense that i’ve always hated him but i knew he was a major threat on the ice. seeing my stars take him made me really nervous but it seems like he’s really reigned in the dirty play and just wants to play hockey, even if he is a 3rd liner. i still don’t particularly like the guy, but i guess if he’s not clowning like he used to i can tolerate him🤷🏼‍♂️

  10. Corey Perry, aka the Kevin Bacon lookalike. Him and Getzlaf really took the league by storm to win that Cup with Pronger, Niedermayer, and JSG.

  11. Really wish the ducks could have gotten another cup in the getz/Perry era. That conference final against Chicago was one of the best series I've seen.

  12. when the drop is that big, i always wonder if there was a coaching change or did he get less minutes, no PP time or just used differently.

  13. The career of Corey Perry: Glorified cheap shotting goon who won't straight up fight who should've been banned from the league years ago.

  14. No wonder he spells his name wrong. Cory is the way it should be spelled. When you add the ‘e’ it’s evil. Lol. Maybe I’m biased for some reason. Lol

  15. Perry has been an absolute win for MTL. It's the little things you see him do. Plus he can score and set up with the ice time given
