While the Leafs love to dump on the management of Kyle Dubas, they sure love his plan. The Fab Four are back, and if JT & Mitch are extended (and it looks likely) we will have them for at least 4 more years (pause).
Whoever made the decision to not trade him after last season deserves to be fired twice.
Mitch is a skilled player, no question about it. He makes the team better. We'll see whether it's more important to him to win a cup in Toronto, or if it's to wring every last superstar dollar out of the team and pad his bank account. If it's all about the money, he'll be moving on after this season.
Marner performs in the playoffs leafs will extend him if sucks goes Mia leafs will trade him for a rugged tough player playoff type if they could find one or just leave.
Tavares won't be making near as much money after next year if he even resigns. Marner did well in the playoffs vs Tampa with 14 points that year in 11 games, But he Didn't look well vs the panthers, I hope we can move him or he starts playing better in the playoffs
Like Babcock showed us, having the right coaching strategies can really affect the players success. May give Marner a different role, his own line and he might produce huge for us.

At the end of the day , marner is elite he’s one of the best wingers in the league . He can kill penalties, run the power play , elite skill making ability’s. Yes , he was abysmal in playoffs this year , but other then that he’s been pretty good almost a point a game in playoffs . I think Berube will hold him accountable and he will be much better this year in the playoffs . It’s his last year under contract I reckon he will have a huge year . 30+ goals 70+ assists 100+ points Go Leafs Go!!!!!!

Has nothing to do with the player or wanting to have him. Marner is amazing and any team would LOVE to have him. It just comes down to the fact that you can't pay 3 Forwards close to 40 million and expect to have a balanced strong team. And unfortunately his contract is up.

Leafs will sign this guy if they don't get the asking price like I have said from month two of Marner leisurely skating back before the final goal of game 7. After letting out my frustration for his bad play. Lets face it, Rielly was back near the net and did nothing as well. For all the great things Marner has done for this team. He is the setup man for 80% of the plays for this team. Every team wants Marner but they will not give two first two a prospects and two roster players for Marner. Then leafs need to sign Marner. the problem was signing JT to the contract that started this mess because Matthews and Marner would have asked for 8 to 9 million if JT was not signed for higher. He set the tone. JT needs to sign for 3 to 4 million on his declining service. Since he was hit in the head he was never the same. Nobody stood up for JT and that was the series. If your going to trade Reeves then look for some other play to take liberties with Marner or Matthews. This is not NHL 24 so get your stupid trades from there a shove it up your back side.

Trading Marner would be one of their biggest mistakes. You will never get his value in return. Instead of focusing on his playoffs "failuers" look at players on other teams that dont show up.
Just how stupid is Treliving? Marner is staying for a year, so sign him and trade him on July 1st. At least we won’t get nothing for him.
Mitch doesn’t owe the Leafs & their fans anything – after the Leafs get knocked out of the playoffs in round one again next spring. Let us be grateful & gracious – when Marner plays out his contract next year & even if he walks/leaves to join Dubas in Pittsburgh next summer. Go Leafs go! 😀

If he walks he walks they can’t over pay him, so if he wants to play in Toronto he will take what they offer him, I’m sure they won’t under pay but they won’t pay what other teams will offer him
These guys need to check the stats… Marner, Nylander, and Matthews are all within a few points of each other for career post-season points. How you can claim Nylander and Matthews are amazing post-season, but Marner is coming up short, is baffling.

Fans need to cheer Marner on this year. When he leaves the Leafs are no longer a lock to make the playoffs.
If Marner has a great year he will get a raise to 13. The key for the Leafs will be the length do they tie Marner to Matthews or Nylander. Also would he take 8 years without the GM killing NMC.
