His ball placement is outstanding. The announcers were down playing it. The foot work is a lil choppy but that’s expected for a qb who lived in shotgun his whole career
Hes a lil slow in his progressions but that will improve as he adapts to nfl game speed, he know were his reads are and seems to have a really good feel for the pocket pressure, this kid might have something.
#1 I hope he pans out in the end #2 In the pre-season he's not seeing the defenses he'll be facing during the season. #3 The throw he made for a TD in the corner, anyone else notice he stared down the receiver? If he does that during the season that route will get jumped for a pick 6.
This is probably the worst tag line I've seen yet. Nix did not complete a single pass past the sticks in the middle of the field. Almost all the ones he did complete were checkdowns, screens, & simple flair patterns to RBs or the TE a few yards from the LOS, sometimes behind it. Of the three that he attempted further than that in the middle of the field, one hit the Colts DB in the stomach & should have been picked. The other two were way off the mark & probably because he threw off balance & without his feet set despite having no reason to do that.
He looked like a rookie QB playing with starters against another team's 2nd unit defense, which is what he was doing. He's not the next Peyton Manning because he threw 21 passes in a meaningless preseason game & anybody who thinks so knows nothing about the NFL.
He looked quite a bit like 2023 Russell Wilson actually. Those are the same kind of passes Wilson was routinely criticized for. Based on what I saw from Nix, at this point he looks like he needs a good year to ride the pine & learn.

When Nix as the sportswriters, fans, media and owners saw Bo walk onto the field, they all proclaimed he walked with an air of confidence and instilled a winning attitude with his players. Nix has already been crowned the next Tom Brady and will automatically make all pro this season. Why in his rookie year he will take the Bronco's to the Super Bowl and score 60 points. There is nothing this rookie QB can't do. Yep Denver has found their QB for the next 10 years. His command of the offense just makes our hearts go pitter patter. Go Bo, Bo knows football! Why he has more swagger than Joe Namath and the calm as Joe Cool Montana. Hall of Fame for sure awaits him!
I don't understand all the hype. Ever deep ball sucked. If that was a regular season game I'm thinking multiple picks and maybe a concussion. I think Wilson looked very good tho. He has a better arm and legs and wayyyy mo to prove.
He never really sets his feet. Better get that fixed or he will throw a bunch of picks. I dont see why he got all those glowing reviews from press and fans

Please stop zooming in on the pocket every play, how can you evaluate a quarterback and his reads/decision making if all you can see is the pocket.
