The fact that they didn't make him their back up is a red flag to me. Maybe he's locker room poison, maybe there's character issues, no way the Hawks are interested in a problem child. The fact that he very publicly asked for a trade may be a clue.
I think the Hawks see Comesso as a Cory Crawford type goalie, not gonna wow you, but rock solid and makes the big saves when he needs to.
I think your rankings are pretty accurate, though maybe Chelly over Graham. I saw 4 of your 5 play. Only his limited run as captain makes Mikita only number 5.

I would absolutely trade for askarov if we could but preds won’t trade a potential star goalie on a solid contract endless we give up a stupid amount that probably wouldn’t be worth it
