Na trading z now is a downfall for the franchise. Like it or not he has the recognition. Unless his play this upcoming season is far under par he isnt going anywhere imo. Getting rid of z is still a bad business proposition at this point.

Mason was dealing with a boat load of injuries last year.. He missed alot of time… Hes putting in the work in the GYM.. it should pay off.
is it just me or is this off-season break longer than usual? I wake up everyday hoping NHL season is starting that evening, and I get disappointed everyday.

If McTavish can live up to his potential and work to be the next Getzlaf, that would be extremely beneficial as the Ducks look to move out of the basement of the NHL. 3rd line is a banger line and more focused on defensive-offensive. I don’t recall him being creat a striping the puck but Z has that talent. Maybe you put Z on the 3rd line with some banger wings like Vatrano, Leason or new guy Fabbri. We need guys that can skate and check-Hit but can also disrupt the top line of our opponents. The main thing is find chemistry with each player. If the coaches hold them accountable and the player find chemistry…no telling what this season will look like. I still feel there is a deal out there in the works. We’ll see if we get that top 6 wing still 🏒🙏🤞. Thanks for update.

I think he’s gotta find the balance between his all out power game offensively and lackluster defensive game. Something in the middle that can be depended on. He was on a tear last season offensively before the injuries piled up but defensively he was a risk every shift. Coaching needs to get these forwards to start being more mindful of the holes they create for each other
