I was definitely Maureen, although I had no interest in cheer-leading. Bass guitar, yes. Actually, I never did get to shoot off a bottle rocket, but the buffet scene does bring back pleasant memories. I wish I could go do that again with my three best friends from high school… sigh
Then there's another scene (I believe later in this episode) where cool kids again holler at Maureen and Bill casually goes "Quick, where's Eli?!" LOL Greatest show of all time.
Man, high school is the 2000s was way different. Kids like Eli were generally the most popular because they were almost always psyched to see you and hang out. Good kids with big hearts. And anyone making fun or bullying them would 100% get lit up by the entire student body.
This actually shows how popular kids really aren’t as mean as Hollywood movies make them. Besides the overly nerdy plot here, the 2 girls are pretty accurate…. a cheerleader isn’t going to act like the mean girls in Never Been Kissed or She’s All That just because you aren’t popular. They’ll talk to you, and maybe even befriend you if they liked you enough. I mean there are always mean kids just like there are mean adults, but this is pretty accurate on how kids react to eachother.
Oh well, they'd say really cruel things, ignorant things… Why is that? I think because, they're afraid. and what would they say exactly? Oh, they'd say, "You're only allowed at the gym so they can study you, why don't you go back to China and make my shoes…" or, they'd write COVID-CHINK-LOVER on my nurse'a desk and tell me to run to my ABC brother… -Bryan Chiang (variant)

Did I miss the funny part?
The funniest scene is " yes bill, a turd "
This show is fucking terrible. No wonder it was swiftly cancelled.
I LOVED ELI OMG
This guy who played Eli would make the "perfect "
new Freddy Kruger.
Then they learnt the lesson to give people a chance
Omg its russel from six feet under
0:21 invasion of the body snatchers 😂 yes then to Threes Company double yes 😝
If you think about it, they low key hooked Eli up with Vicky
You know, I've never seen it. Is it really that good?
Eli was one of my favorite characters
Fucking gangster pushes her out the way "Excuse me" not a second thought.

The actor who played Eli is married to Laura Prepon (Donna from That 70’s Show)
“There was this scene where Jack had lost his voice …” 🤣🤣🤣
Eli was like I’m about to give her my piece of mind 😆😆😆

that’s insane that Ben Foster is also the brother in Hell or High Water
I want to hear Eli say " mornin' Pinkerton"
okay, the jacket reads: Hell's Angels (Ventura) chapter and I think they'd really appreciate it back
Oh man, I forgot about Eli. Such a great character!
