The only reason to bring Justin Schultz in would be to introduce him to the alumni room.
He's a liability on the ice.
Gotta say, pretty disappointed we didn’t trade for Yaroslav Askarov. He felt like the rare A level prospect you just HAVE to trade for. Skinner/Yaroslav would have set up the Oilers for a top 10, potentially top 5 goal tending unit. + Yaroslav has a higher ceiling than Skinner imo. Thought we could have easily afforded a similar trade package that the Sharks gave up.
Anyways, too late now. Rooting for Emberson, Podkolzin & Stetcher to have big years.
+ Hoping E. Kane plays like an All-Star once he returns fully healthy.
