I am in no way affiliated with SACE but it’s an organization that I have donated to in order to help others in the wake of the Stan Bowman hiring.

  1. Method for prediction: regression to the mean. Hyman's goals were above average for 23-4, so he'll taper down closer to average. Brown's goals were below average for 23-4, so they'll come closer to average for 24-5

  2. Bouchard will score his highest point totals of his career, will be an All Star with no awards. NHL have a lot of elite dman that are more deserving. Bouchard still needs to work harder on his shut down skills. He needs to continue playing with Ekholm and learn the shutdown role.

  3. Love your content bro but you’re wrong on these lol

    1. Hyman gets 30 easy as he’s still the net front presence on the PP. Only injury derails this goal tally.

    2. This is a toss up for me as Skinner has a consistency issue (like many other NHL goalies) so I’m hoping your prediction comes through.

    3. Leon hits 100 for sure and that is partly due to the fact they have more firepower and finishers which was the problem outside of the big 3 (97, 29, 18) no one else was efficient or took enough shots on the wings. This should change with the new additions up front.

    4. Savoie might have a good camp but no way he starts in the NHL. They most likely let him play and dominate his peers in the AHL to warrant coming up and never going back. I think the Ken Holland yo-yo approach to young player development is over and Savoie will have to demonstrate he can excel in a bigger sample size than what preseason can provide.

    5. 97 definitely wins a regular season award, no doubt. Completely disagree here man lol

    Keep up the good work!

  4. i have 1, the Oilers wont make the finals this year. everyone expects them to, but to be fair, they probably wont again this year, its incredibly hard to do so.

  5. My bold predictions…
    McDavid 61g 87a = 148
    Draisaitl 45g 98a = 143
    Savoie makes the team
    Emberson plays regularly with Nurse.
Podkolzin plays the year in Bakersfield
    And my biggest predicted…
The Edmonton Oilers as a team set a new record for total goals scored in the regular season with 449.

  6. 1. strongly disagree on Hyman, he stays close to 50
    2. agree Skinner will do well
    3. Draisaitl: EXTREMELY STRONGLY DISAGREE, IMPOSSIBLE, once he signs the big contract he will flourish mentally, no way, I can bet my pants on Draisaitl having record-season! way above 120 points, maybe more with strong wingers 'valuing' his passes
    4. Savoie: Strongly agree
    5. Strongly disagree on McDavid, he will win Season Awards
    6. Nuge will be way above 60 pts.

  7. I will have to strongly disagree with draisaitl. He usually has kane, foegele, mcleod, all mid tier 3rd liners. If you give him quality level wingers draisaitl could hit a career year. We will find out though!

  8. Austin he’s going to get more points than he’s ever had because he’ll play less and that’s going to mean higher value minutes for the Oilers team.

  9. I think you will miss on 4 or 5 predictions.

    1) 40+
    2) top 10 maybe
3)leon will break 100 with plenty of assists.
4)savoie doesn't make the starting line up. You don't need skill in the bottom 3 exactly, and not sure what the impacts would be of moving him up and down. He needs minutes.

5). Bouchard will not win Norris. Candidate hopefully.

  10. Oilers front office makes no sense! The Ceci trade was not bad maybe an inexpensive good D man coming back. So they clear cap space and then let Broberg walk? So now you lose two key D man for a Dman (Emberson) the Rangers cut? It's just makes no sense!! Then they trade away and or lose all the team speed outside McDavid? McCloud, Foegoele, Holloway, Broberg) team is way worse it's older and slower and less skilled!

  11. I predict management will refuse to send Perry to the minors and he will block younger players and it will hurt this team. It already has because he was prioritised over Holloway & the latter GONE!

  12. Interesting thought that the number of goals a player can score depends heavily on the team and other goals others: following this logic, Kaprizov should have an incredibly high goal scoring potential 😊

  13. Hilarious, all your subscribers are pretty much saying the exact opposite of you. Lol Your predictions are trying too hard to be unbiased, but at the end of the day your predictions are way off the mark and not thought through very well.
