Zach Hyman had a career-year in terms of goals scored in 2023-24 with a whopping total of 54! The driving force behind those results was a career-best 11.2 SOG/60 and near career-high 18.6 iSH%. Hyman’s career shooting percentage is 13.6% and his 3-year average is 15%, so expect to see that number come down a bit next season.
Hyman’s luck metrics were also elevated in terms of 2A/60, PPSH% (23.4%) and tEVSH% (11%); though strangely, his IPP was at a career-low 49% next season.
Bottom line for me, we should expect to see similar point totals, but a fairly significant pull-back in terms of goals – which should really not be a surprise to anyone.
