You’ve got a repeat on the McGroarty trade, just a heads up

I gave this off-season a 3. I very much like the trades, and a few signings (Puustinen especially).
But they lose 2 stars for things they are not doing, and should be, which is scorched earth.
Crosby should not be re-signed for massive money on a sinking ship, yet they are pushing to do that. Petts hasn’t been traded and should be, after a career year. Karlsson can be dealt at 50%. Etc…
All their focus should be directed at improving the state of the farm system, and improving the odds of building the next good core. While they’ve definitely done some of that, they’re not fully committed to that either.
