Seriously? He's 18, has less than one season on what was probably the worst NHL roster in history BEFORE it was decimated by injuries.

C'mon, MacKinnon is elite BUT to put him on par with McDavid is foolish – it's not close – I mean there is no argument there.. And look, I believe Mario Lemieux and Wayne Gretzky are interchangeable and either one is the GOAT, at least when it comes to forwards so it's not like I don't understand controversial opinions, but Gretzky/Lemieux are way closer than McDavid/MacKinnon.. As for Bedard – I don't know if it's even appropriate to "rank" him considering we don't even know if he will be a center. I mean I hope he is but to rank him at all is a bit premature. Look, if they ranked him among the top 30 forwards – I'd understand that – but not ranked as a center.. I would imagine I would have him ranked around #20-30 in my personal "top 30 forwards", but I would really expect him to climb my rankings as the season progresses and finish in the top 15, perhaps 10 or so. I'm expecting 90 points out of Bedard this season, and that should place him in the top 20 in scoring – but you never know considering 100 points per season has become the new norm.
