The only way this lineup makes sense in a rebuild context is if they’re going to do a package of picks for a high 1st next year. There’s no way this lineup get’s a top 5 pick unless something absolutely catastrophic happens. So not sure where the 1C they desperately need is going to come from.

This lineup prediction contains no surprises except for Erik Johnson getting the nod over Ristolainen, which honestly I don’t see happening. They are paying Risto too much $ to shelve him. They are going to play Risto if only to inflate his trade value.
I imagine Frost and Forester are pretty excited to get the first crack with Michkov. Frost has gone through a lot of trials and tribulations so far and I hope he takes full advantage of his chance to shine.
