Kimmo Timonen was drafted 250th overall by the Los Angeles Kings in 1993. The 4th Captain in Preds history suited up for 573 games, scoring 79 goals and tallying 222 assists. He would play another 535 games in the NHL with the Flyers (519) and Blackhawks (16).

Cody Franson was drafted 79th overall by the Nashville Predators in 2005. He would play 164 games for the Preds, scoring 15 goals and 39 assists.
Erik Gudbranson was drafted 3rd overall by the Florida Panthers in 2010. He would play just 9 games for the Preds, registering a single assist. Last season at the age of 32, Gudbranson set a career high of 26 points on the Blue Jackets.
Kiefer Sherwood is an undrafted, pure ball of energy. The past 2 seasons he left it all on the ice for 100 games, scoring 17 goals and 23 assists. While I wish him luck in Vancouver, he will be sorely missed and was a constant reminder of how good this team can be whenever they play a full 60.
