Robertson isn't great in his own end. Instead of working on that part of his game he publicly demanded a trade. Even if the Leafs agreed to trade him, because he went public it lowers what the team will potentially get for him. Not the brightest move.
I'm far more vindictive than Treliving is; I'd sit him if I didn't get decent trade value to him. He'd learn a lesson and it would send a message to anybody else trying to cause problems. The team should always come first.

Absolute diva. I liked the player, I thought he had potential, but his attitude appears to be very poor imo.

The more the media talks about him the lower his trade value goes. They would be lucky to get a 4th or 5th round pick for this over rated one dimensional small forward.

.ask the question..why do so many players walk away from the Leafs..the "room" must be fractured to a point there is no "team first"….Robertson is a smallish winger the Leafs have spent the summer trying to sign..not a difference maker..??..the chasers in the Atlantic are improving and playoffs are no longer automatic..
Robertson has no leverage. Let him sit, this time the Dec 1st deadline puts pressure on the player not the team. If he is adamant not to play for us he can burn 5 years of career earnings until he walks at 27.

No one else likes him enough to give him an offer sheet for $1.5 million. Hes not that good.
