Don’t sleep on Taylor Hall. I get that his best days are behind him. But he’s under 35 and he’s a former league MVP. It’s not at all strange to think he could have a bounce back year. Far crazier things have happened.
I can see are first 3 draft picks bust. And I hope I'm wrong. Should of traded with Montreal. They still could of got the project Levshunov. Passing on Demitov or Iginla was stupid.
38:23 Jay they actually did. Hockey players don’t say anything ever…Kane said he would’ve stayed out of his own mouth. Thats not reading between the lines, it’s not him taking the high road- he said so himself as a member of the Wings, multiple times. In hockey speak, that’s blaring neon lights…And I think you could’ve avoided a lot of the leadership issues and guys giving half effort with a guy like him around. Same goes for Toews but his situation is so different with his health. That being said, I think Toews would’ve given it a shot health wise and gone down with the ship. The Hawks said they didn’t see roles for them moving forward and wouldn’t be offering them contracts, it’s well documented. I can’t stand this type of stuff
