Kane is building a house in yeg, I'm sure he doesn't want to move
When it comes to Gagner, As a GM I'd want to see him start the year in the Ahl and if he gets off to a hot start like 40pts in 25 games then he could be a mid season signing/call up. If you're going to give a prospect a chance to make the roster it should be out of training camp, alot of these vets could stand to start the season in bako and get called up after 10 or so games.
