Alex Ovechkin, the fifth-oldest player in the NHL, is set to enter his 20th season with the Washington Capitals at the age of 39. Meanwhile, Ryan Leonard has decided to return to Boston College for his sophomore season, prioritizing his desire to win a national title for the Eagles and represent Team USA at the World Junior Championship. In preparation for the upcoming training camp, informal skates at the MedStar Capitals Iceplex saw the participation of various players, including notable performances from Dylan Strome, Pierre-Luc Dubois, and others, as they geared up for the intense competition ahead.
