Why were so many saying โwhat are you thinkingโ regarding PLD? The kings made a decision, but they didnโt know. They were choosing a goalie and ano Direction. The caps really need PLD. He should score 60-80 points with much more ice time. Perhaps 20 minutes vs. Only 15 per game with kings, making it impossible for him to truly find a flow. He is still so young. His rookie season he scored 50 points, including 20 goals at 19 years old. At 26 and a lot of experience. I think he will be remembered as a Washington capital a decade from now celebrating his 1000th point.
