Calgary Flames fans mourn ‘Johnny Hockey’ outside Saddledome

Calgary Flames fans stopped by the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary to pay tribute to Johnny Gaudreau with bags of Skittles, bottles of purple Gatorade, flowers and hand-written notes. Gaudreau and his brother Matthew were killed by a suspected drunk driver while cycling near their childhood home in New Jersey. (Aug. 30, 2024 / The Canadian Press)

  1. I’m a die hard Oilers fan but I so sorry for all those touched by not only his ability as a hockey player but his humanity it brought to all those who loved him

  2. My God, two brothers out for a bike ride prior to their sisters' wedding today. The agony must be unbearable.
