Due to the tragic news earlier today involving the Gaudreau family there will be no news based video tonight. I think we all need some time to process this news anyway. Stephenson brings a cup ring and leadership you hope, you can put him on the wing or center he's versatile I've watched a lot of VGK but I don't love the contract either it's an overpay but it's probably what it took to bring him there it's not a destination place for free agents
Not a fan of the moves Seattle madeā¦Byalsma was best addition of the ones made
Wright should be the #1 C. Stephenson contract makes sense if you remember that Wright is just starting his ELC, so that buys 3 years and Gourde will be gone after this year (if not sooner). Under no circumstances should he be shunted to the wing, play him 16 minutes a game and see what he can do
What I think gets lost with the Stephenson contract is like a jacknife. Play in all positions and situations. I think that is valuable. Wright is not blocked necessarily.
