THG – it turned out that rumor was true. This is the rare instance where it was confirmed. I am a Dallas fan, and Johnny was one of my favorite non-Dallas Stars players. I am sickened by the confirmation that he has passed. God be with his family, friends, and team mates.
I just rewatched the Jim Carrey movie Bruce Almighty where Jim as Bruce uses his powers given to him by Morgan Freeman to enrich himself and he's doing things that have a negative effect on everyone else but help him. We're seeing that now with these clickbait people without the supernatural powers.
Wow. RIP Gaudreau.
No parents should have to bury their children. RIP.
It was wrong for the police investigating the crash to leak the information to the internet and via text messages before the Johnny's family was notified.
Rest in peace Johnny Gaudreau. If you’re ever intoxicated, just take an Uber or Lyft. It’s not worth ending the life of another or yourself, and not worth ruining families.
You should have just left the rumour mill alone. Touch on things when they’re official.

There are too many rumours out there in the internet based world we live in and we need to leave them as that: rumours. So sad about Gaudreau and his brother.
In a just world, he would be prime minister. I have complete faith in him. He's just a good guy, and he does the right thing as if the world isn't burning outside his window. Maybe there's still hope for the world

Absolutely gut-wrenching news, no matter if you're a hockey fan or not. No parent should bury their children. The only silver lining of this is that at least the perpetrator will get significant jail time in the US. In Finland it would be involuntary manslaughter, 4-5 years max.

Hearing you've been traded online is one thing … But family hearing loss online is horrible. Police leak looks awful too. Johny Hockey was wonderful to watch … Great last memory of Gaudreau's USA points & assist records at this springs' World Championships.
The human race is chock full of complete and utter sh*t stains. My best pal was mown down by a pissed up f*cker back in 94 when we were 14 years old. Nothing ever changes. I’m so sorry for the Gaudreau family. And my thoughts go out to anyone else who’s ever experienced this kind of madness.

On the serious side, there aren't enough words to put out there to help the Gaudreau family heal. In what was supposed to be a time of happiness taken away and turned into tragedy because of someone else poor choice.

Nick Cousins signing is a good signing for him as he is From Belleville (he just brought the Stanley Cup here to Belleville on August 20th) if it doesn't work out in Ottawa and he gets sent down to the Ahl he would be playing back in his hometown.
