[Kristen Shelton] When I chatted with Johnny Gaudreau last year he told me how excited he was for the Canadiens’ season – “I love watching my good buddy Sean play every single night. I’ll watch their team the most just to see him go.” They were meant to be teammates again. Another layer of awful.

My heart has broken and rebroken so many hundreds of times today. Each post, tribute, statement… shatters it all over again. And I’m not even a super fan. I can’t begin to imagine the depths of pain for those closer to the situation.
Such a mixture of hatred for the repeat offender vile piece of shit that caused this (who then had the audacity to be *ANNOYED* that he had to wait in lock up until next Thursday because of the long weekend. May be spend every second of the rest of his life…. *annoyed*.), and gut wrenching sadness for their family, friends, teammates, communities, etc.
Just impossible to truly process the reality, when it’s so utterly senseless.
The more comes out the more this seems like the single most tragic event in years.
This is truly awful. In every way. I hope the best for everyone who knew him and his brother Mathew. God dammit
