    Toronto needs a miracle AND a full overhaul. Pacioretty to Leafs makes me less optimistic for us because of his age amongst other variables. Cousins is a W for the sens

    Pac is injured steady. Cousins has more points, younger, faster. Stupid signing if they make it. Cousins would have been a better signing

    The 2:24 mark features the start of a claim by the Hot Take Hockey man about the Canucks‘ goaltending situation. Of Canada’s, NHL teams I see the goaltending situation of the:
    – Oilers, with the Stu Skinner-Cal Pickard tandem, as very stable
    – Habs, with the Sam Montembeault-Cayden Primeau tandem, also as quite stable
    – Flames, with the Dustin Wolf-Dan Vladar tandem, as unstable on quality, but stable in terms of having two goalies who last regular season almost evenly split the starts that Jacob Markstrom had not made
    – Jets, with a proven healthy starter in Connor Hellebuyck, but with his main backup, between Eric Comrie and ex-Shark Kaapo Kähkönen, still TBD
    – Sens, with an all-Swedish tandem of Linus Ullmark and Anton Forsberg, but with, between the two goalies, which one will start more regular-season games
    – Leafs, with an injury-prone Joe Woll as the only goalie under contract to them to have played in even one NHL regular-season game last season, but Tony Stolarz the newest one (Stolarz having signed last month a 2-season US$5-million contract)
    – Canucks rather unstable with Thatcher Demko and Arturs Šilovs both nursing lower-body injuries, with any replacement still TBD should either have to mess significant time during the regular season

    Should have taken cousins.

    Should have traded Robertson by now.

    What are we doing.

    I’d take Clutterbuck, Martin and even Josh Bailey

    And Reeves should be traded. Maybe he can go protect bedard or celebrinni.

This news this morning is devastating and I can’t believe this is real. Isles fans are with you Blue Jackets.
