As the only remaining WHA team … Edmonton is prohibited from taking advantage of any and all questionable cap circumventing plays… which is why we can't put Kane on LTIR and have him miraculously be ready for game 1 of the playoffs… the other 31 teams can… but not the Oilers.

Love the big German but he's likely peaked and performance will start to decline anyway. Second, talk to Nurse about waiving his NMC.
