I loved watching Johnny hockey my prayers go out to his family and his brother brother as well
Thank you for this, Harrison… I've been walking around today, feeling shocked, numb… feels like it's not real. As a Jets fan, we would see him doing his thing on the ice with Calgary, didn't get to see him or watch him as often once he went to Columbus, since they only played Jets twice a year, but man, he was fun to watch on the ice. I will miss him, I'll miss the funny post-game interviews he'd give, and I know Columbus and Calgary fans especially will miss the genuinely warm guy he was.
Most heartbreaking thing is that his babies won't get to see him and know him, that has to be the most gut wrenching part of all of this.
I have a hockey stick outside in Johnny and Matthew's memory, and I believe that both Johnny and Matthew's spirits will be close to their families, and I also believe that Johnny will be watching over his hockey teams in Columbus and Calgary. Rest in peace, Johnny and Matthew.
