  1. With what cap space? We still need probably about 17m for Raymond and Seider. Plus, Berggren still doesnโ€™t have a contract

  2. I watched every Sharks game last season. Hoffman was arguably the worst player on the entire team. The goals that he scored were meaningless. He is COOKED. Red Wings making a huge mistake if they sign him.

  3. I don't know if these rumors are true or not but Yzerman better start to do better with his FA signings. None of his signings help his team in the long term.

  4. Signing hoffman to stand in the way of one of the multitude of better young players the red wings already has sounds like a solid idea befitting of the yzersham.

Also your exit message is still complete gibberish

  5. Sprong excelled, to the bench. He was scratched and not played for those same traits u say Hoffman had. Sprong wont be missed, he didnt play defense. Hoffman isnt playing in Detroit. Steve said they r looking to get better defensively and they already have enough offense first guys. As in, Tarasenko, Debrincat, and Kane. I think if u give a roster spot to someone, there has to be some upside. Pick any prospect forward from the Griffins and give him that spot. Not only will that player be way better than Hoffman, u have a prospect getting NHL games to see what u have.

  6. yzerman said "build through the draft"

right before he signed, kane, tarasenko, holl, perron, chariot and talbot ๐Ÿ˜‚

  7. Mike Hoffmans wife is the number 1 reason not to sign him. The quality of his skills in comparison to cost and roster space is number 2. Locker Room Cancer.

  8. Hoffman can't hack it anymore. Probably can't score 20+ goals now, is a defensive liability,a waste of cap and roster space.
