  1. Why wouldn't Slaf be able to justify being a 1st overall pick? It was a weak draft and he seems to have been the best player available. He had 40 points in his last 55-60 games of the season last year once put on the 1st line. Not crazy to think he'll put up 65 points next year and in his prime maybe 75-85 per season. Also his value is more than scoring. He's a big body and wins so many puck battles.
