    It's interesting to hear that you have liked what Dubas has done this summer. I think the McGroarty move seemed like a great victory, and it may end up being. It is too early to tell. But I haven't seen anything the last two years with any of the moves that fills me with optimism. I think he has a plan and trying to execute, I guess I just felt optimism that they have done much to the team aside from moving laterally a little for now…I'll wait to see what plays out this year, but it feels like another year of being out by 2-5 pts

    I don't doubt Sids loyalty to Pitt. But Rob Rossi's last article was a a little scary. As someone that has been following this team very very closely and Sid especially for a long time now I have at times worried about him pulling a Barry Sanders. Now he didn't quite do that but it would be a real.bummer if he decides to hang them up after next year. He has never really struck me as a guy that will play over 40. He will not be Howe or Jagr. But it would be cool to see him play 3-5 more years. And realistically at 5 years I could see him hitting 2k points if the Pens stay descent. I'd love to see him do it! But only time will tell

    I don’t doubt Sydney Crosby.
    I do doubt of getting Malkin. I do doubt Chris Lang. I doubt Malcolm‘s desire to play in. Skate for an entire 60 minutes. Or not throw irresponsible blind backhand passes across the middle of the ice to get intercepted by the other team. I doubt Kris Letang‘s ability to get a slap shot through to the net from the point on the power play. I don’t doubt his ability to hit the penalty, killers, shin pads leading to an odd man breakaway, and a shorthanded goal the other way

    I think he might accept a trade at the deadline if the Pens are not looking like a playoff team and then re-sign with the Pens in the offseason. Even as a rental, a trade involving Crosby would rebuild the team almost over night and allow the last 3 or 4 years of his career to be on a younger and more competitive team. Dubas has improved the team but not to the point where Crosby feels like they can win a cup in the next 3 or 4 years and that's why he hasn't signed yet, in my opinion.
