Re-Sign at 7-7.5mil for 3 years, if he continues to improve then give him the bag long term at age 26
The only thing missing is his defensive skills, he's young lot's of time to improve. I believe he is only going to get better.

Holland really didn't draft that well for the Oilers but he hit gold with Bouchard, he was predicted to get drafted lower.
Over rated, he’s a 3rd winger, watch him play defense, it’s non existent, without ekholm doing double duty Bouchard would get pulled

It's funny that he literally got no Norris respect and now everyone thinks he has to get $10 million. Just because Holland overpaid Darnell doesn't make it a good fiscal policy.
Not sure Bouchard will win a Norris anytime soon with Quinn Hughes, Cale Makar, and Roman Josi in the league
Lets see how many rabid oilers fans will try to convince me otherwise, the Norris trophy is the best DEFENCE men trophy
If you're going to use the argument that Bouchard is only good because he plays with McDavid, then you need to say that Makar is only good because he plays with MacKinnon and Toews, a defenseman that is also regarded to be top 10.
Next expansion fee is definitely going to be north of $1 billion for sure.
A dman has to play well with everyone. They’re not stapled to a line. They’re playing with multiple lines in a single shift. So yeah, the argument that he shouldn’t make as much because he plays with McDavid isn’t very fair. For a forward on his line I’d weigh it a bit more heavily.
I was listening to some TSN overdrive and they were saying he’s a 6 million dollar player because they still think Bouchard isn’t good on defence 😂
It would help if you had a sidekick on your cast, we could all use a better analogy.
