  1. I've said it all along. Swayman is worth 5 years at 6 to 6.5 million. And that's at the high end. The Bruins' offer is right on the money. No way in hell is he worth 9 or 10 million, that's ridiculous. He hasn't earned it plus the way he plays he's looking at a major groin injury in the near future. The Bruins could use the money to help fill the roster. I can't believe the arrogance that he thinks he's worth that much. Frankly I'd rather see him walk than over pay him.

  2. Swayman should not be getting 8×8 mil – he is still full season unproven and he's goalie and he's 25. They reach the big bag at around 29 and after proving their worth over a couple of seasons.

Dont waste cap space on goalie, when that cap space is also needed at different spots – and sure the cap raises, but it wont be going up by that much.

  3. What Swayman wants is detrimental to the future of the team. Seems like he'd rather make more $$$ instead of being on a team that is a perennial cup contender. Swayman wants the big AAV as well as a long-term deal and that's just not going to happen at this point. He should take a 3 to 4 year deal at 6.5 to 7 AAV and PROVE he's a #1 elite starter that's worth 9-10 AAV.
