Leaving aside the weird fake interview format here, this is a good collection of Minten quotes that I think illustrates who he is as a player pretty well. He describes himself as wanting to emulate 2 way centremen like Barkov, Horvat, and Backlund, and he says that
> “If I want to carve my way into that [Leafs] lineup at some point, it will be based on work ethic and playing hard, and getting to those areas and finding ways to battle pucks into the net and win battles, disrupt on the forecheck, work hard defensively.”
Obviously nobody’s expecting him to be Barkov, but if he can play a similar style I think he’s going to be a good defensively-minded 3C for us, and that’s a guy we’ve been looking for for years.

I don’t think it’s been discussed enough that Minten is playing in the AHL this year and is free to go up and down all season and because of that my hot take for this season is he plays 25 plus games and is this year’s Holmberg where the last two seasons Pontus never made the team out of camp but ended up playing 37 and 54 games.

What a weird article. Hard to put any stock in something like this. I might as well just make my own post that for you all to read.
