  1. habs fans over reacting, no way !! 😂

habs fans think everyone of their prospect is going to the hall some day, embarrassing fan base lol

  2. Interesting podcast LR99!
    1. Im a diehard Habs fan so you know where my biases lie BUT I try and be fair and balanced.
    2. Re: Pronman's assessment….he's NOT wrong stating what he did re: Hutson because sucking Ben Chiarot out of his jock strap once does not an NHL superstar make! His key descriptor is "NHL ready" and while I see a HUGE upside to Hutson he hasn't proven anything yet….just recall Nail Yakapov, Shane Wright, etc etc etc. The list is endless of juniors or college hockey greats who are projected to be the next Gretzky, Orr, Brodeur only to see them totally disappear once tHey arrive in the NHL.
    3. NOW….having said all the above…..i watched Hutson numerous times last season at BU….the kid is a BLUELINE BEAST!!!! He looks to be tge real deal and comparisons to Cale Makar aside….i see Hutson possessing all the skills & talents to be NHL ready this season.
    4. I predict Hutson (and Laine) will reignite the Habs PP with Hutson assuming the mantle of "QB" of the PP. This will lead to 5-10 games won that they lost last season and the additional points PLUS the overall improved team game and those added points will put the Habs in the hunt for one of the Wildcard playoff spots. Big steps forward this season and Hutson will be a big part of that trend.

  3. I'm pretty sure there hasn't been enough time to respect or disrespect anyone.
    Sixth overall is pretty good.
Still need the game breaker. Hutson hasn't done anything yet.
Waiting to see what Hutson can do.
I haven't been impressed with him at the world juniors. His skating hasnt impressed me in his two (2) NHL games. I gotta figure hes way better than Justin Barron who is ranked 6th on the team. He had better be. Wait to see what he does.
He has guhle slotted as a good 2nd pair guy which I think is accurate. I think my best hope for Hutson is that he will be a power play quarterback and I hope a good one. So was Mark Streit. If he plays as well as Mark Streit we will be very lucky and he will be very good. No habs fans would be happy if you didn't rank him as a seedling bobby orr.

  4. Pronman really isn’t a great evaluator of talent and admits he has a bias for big tough players. He stated such in a mailbag where he has Yakemchuk higher than Demidov.

  5. lego…i whouldnt say u are belivable either..youre innondated with false trade speculation…at least this was different…i have no love for u

  6. Honestly just keep disrespecting us, love to prove everyone wrong.
Every Habs fan knows we have the best u23 pool in the league.

  7. Even as a 40 year Habs fan i admit the hype and projection some fans are throwing out regarding our prospects is way overboard. Reinbacher is not going to be the next Sider. Hudson is not going to be the next Makar. Demidov is not the next Malkin. I love the prospects we have but lets get honest. How many prospects have we been putting ridiculous expectations on for years now. I see Reinbacher as a very good 2nd pairing defenseman. I personally think Hudson was third best D in his draft. I think Nemec is going to be the best defenseman of that draft because he's a complete defenseman great at both ends and I think Mintyukov is going to be a little better. I think Hudson compares best with Luke Hughes with the slight edge to Hughes because theres something about the Hughes family bloodline. That of course does mean I see him as a great 1st pair D. Demidov is going to compare to Mitchkov. Friendly advise fellow Habs fans calm the overhyping and we will see
