The NHL brings over Russian players so putting a gambling logo on the Oilers jersey shows how much of a social conscience the league has.
Gambling has become more important than the game. So many ads during a televised game. Can only imagine how Ardvisson would have felt if he hurt 97. Fortunate it was nothing, thanks for the update

It feels like the last season just ended! But I guess with all the hoopla over the summer there has been much to talk about!
Players get suspended heavily for gambling related issues. Yet the league is allowed to make money and advertise gambling. Yes it is thesame thing. players play the game. The league officiates/referees the game. If players are not allowed to bet because it jeapordizes the integrity of the game, then the league/refs/officials should also be barred from having affiliation with gambling sites. The league can manipulate games just as easily as a player can.
