Behind the scenes he probably requested during the draft maybe earlier…the organization didn't do anything…so his agent came out publicly and requested a trade….just saying…dudes don't just randomly request trades at certain points

And heres the issue with Robertson if you were to call it that …obviously the organization values him …he woulda been dashed quickly if they didn't….keep in mind hes a small forward …they got alot of small skilled forwards … they're looking for a separation from other small skilled forwards because that is what was expandable for the leafs…draft picks in return those were their assets …Robertson remains in purgatory cause they neither found a trade partner or actually feel hes been given an opportunity….under old management he was just a trade piece…berube decided to keep him and I think tree wanted him as well ..that's that basically

Everything you said about Robertson, was identical to NJs issue with Alexander Holtz which resulted in a trade
