I haven't seen this discussed yet. There are some intriguing options who could potentially help with depth and/or toughness.
A few names still unsigned are Patches, Mike Hoffman, JVR, Cal Clutterbuck, and Kailer Yamamoto. But there are others: here's a somewhat updated list

Per Dredger – Patches is signing with the Leafs
I’d like to see JVR get a PTO, and Pacioretty, but rumor is the Leafs are targeting him. But other than that it’s slim pickings on folks who could boost the scoring
Erne was always a Canes killer, hate to see he got a PTO with the Rangers.
JVR, Wheeler, or Okposo could be interesting. Don’t really see us giving anyone else on that list a shot
JVR sounds interesting. Clutterbuck could be a real bruiser to have for postseason play. That way if we can’t bolster the scoring then we can simply be a bitch to play against.
JVR would fit our needs the most.

Nick Robertson could be an interesting option if the Leafs do trade him
