St. Louis Blues defenseman Torey Krug got emotional when asked whether he’d be around the rink following a decision to have season-ending ankle surgery.
Say what you want about Krug but he’s a competitor and seems like a genuinely great guy. Wishing him the best recovery possible. Some things are bigger than hockey

Sucks he’s out for the season but I’m happy to have a guy on the team that shows this kind of emotion.
